CREATURE FEATURE: THE SPINNER SHARK

This month, it’s the turn (excuse the pun) of the Spinner Shark to swim into the spotlight. This shark is famous for its aerial acrobatics.
CREATURE FEATURE: OCEANIC WHITETIP

This month, it’s the turn of a legendary shark – the Oceanic Whitetip. Known for their incredibly long dorsal and pectoral fins, this species was once the most abundant oceanic-pelagic species of shark on the planet.
CREATURE FEATURE: COWNOSE RAY

This month we’re showing off one of the lesser-known rays: the Cownose ray. A migratory species, the Cownose ray is so-called due to it’s high-domed head and two lobes on the top of their head. These lobes, when viewed from above, resemble a cow’s nose.
